If A country gets a quota in each event, can they both ride both?.

Zwolinska won the W K1 quota which is for the NOC (Will be official tomorrow, she just have to finish the race and avoid REL-DSQ), by then :POL can nominate to Paris who they want and this chosen athlete will be eligible if she wish to start also in the C1 and Kayak-Cross.

Unless I really made a mistake, Wikipedia is wrong in this, which is let be honest nothing unusual

Yes, wikipedia is wrong, an athlete can only win one quota. In this case :POL wins K1. And then the athlete in the Olympics can complete in C1 too cause there is no one else from the country.

According to the Comms :SUI & :ESP are in a dead heat on time for the last quota spot.  Rules Committee in session.  :pope:

It shouldn't be any doubt, the process is clear

And Spain was better than :SUI in the previous phase

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
