hckošice 13,534 Posted September 11, 2023 #11 Share Posted September 11, 2023 (edited) 2 finalists is great for us, Quite unusual in a olympic event at a major event. Danka is really such great ambassador for this sport and great motivation for slovak girls, it is no coincidence that we have already 2 qualified athletes for Paris in this. And one of them even finished only as 3rd best Slovak today out of the final. Also no coincidence that this year we had a junior world champion in W Skeet, a young girl who can enter and reinforce the seniors NT in the next seasons. This is all Danka´s legacy, contribution and merit. In other side, and it is really weird, among men, we are completely inexistant. Even here we had no entry at all in M Skeet. Jan Linha 524 Posted September 11, 2023 #14 Share Posted September 11, 2023 Daniel Korčák scored 124 in the qualification and he is not in the final. May I know why is that?

hckošice 13,534 Posted September 11, 2023 #20 Share Posted September 11, 2023 (edited) What a year for Danka Barteková, seriously, completely insane after the big disappointment at the European Games she was able to mentally stand up again and within a few weeks she became the world champion, set the absolute qualifying world record of perfect 125, qualify to the Paris 2024 Olympics and today also the European champion (already for the 4th time in her career) and outside of the sports fields, got another prestigious position as the president of one of the IOC commissions https://olympics.com/ioc/digital-engagement-and-marketing-communications-commission Clearly, without discussion, for me the top pretender for the Slovak Athlete of the Year 2023 Very well done ! Our Danka ! Edited September 11, 2023 by hckošice Roamingrover86, maestro, Josh and 2 others
