After 2012, there were only 2 girls in the national team when Elisabeta Lipa took over the leadership of the federation, from there children from the poorer areas of Romania were brought to the selection, making a centralized program and from here it continued to progress. Unfortunately, rowing is about the only sport in Romania where there is still investment at the selection level.
