Good start by France who essentially have a one fence advantage over other nations trying to qualify to the Olympics.

11th-15th teams from yesterday are done for today.

:ITA 26.74

:POR 43.56

:ESP 44.86

:NOR 48.70

:AUT EL

Once again it just didn't happen for Italy. They are probably eliminated - only 10 teams will start tomorrow.

10 more pens for Italy (Chimirri once again was the worst in the team and his score was discarded)...now we have a total of 26.74...

will it be enough to make the top 10 and go through to the final? :mumble:

Denmark could go behind, depending on how next couple of riders go...

we always pay a too high price to the time category...I just can't believe that our riders are always 10+ seconds slower than the top specialists in this kind of event...

well, Netherlands started with a 4, Denmark with a 5...the course must not be that easy (I'm not watching any picture at the moment, I can only see the results on the official website)...

maybe we still have a tiny chance to improve our ranking...:fingers:

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
