Apparently phelps was right, only if the Host NOC won a quota, the quota should be allocate to the 3rd athletes.

Honestly, I have some doubts. And my English don't help me to much. I think that the 3rd place won the quota

it's as simple as it looks: all quota places decided in the EGs are delayed to the next best ranked shooter competition by competition (therefore  got 2 quota places in the mixed team event -1 W, 1 M- and so in the individual event their athletes are not counted, which means  vs  is a match for bronze and also for the Olympic quota).

 

should  (or any other nation winning a quota place or 2 at the EGs) qualify the full team in one of the next events, the quota places won in this week's event will be reallocated at the final individual OQT.

Roner  winning gold in women’s compound is a bit of a surprise. Gibson  couldn’t find the ten ring in those last two sets though.
