It's interesting when you realize that the main character from 1917 looks familiar because you randomly saw him in some Scottish musical about two or so years ago. Long live IMdB cross-referencing!

Is it good? I’ve seen one North Macedonian film (about Nazi/Bulgarian occupation during WW2) and really liked it. Also, it available anywhere online/streaming?

It is really good, but I am not familiar with its availability outside of cinema.

 

It's not just about isolation though, there are also some wonderful insights about culture and relationship with nature in general.

Honeyland was included in last year's Sundance Festival, so it should be available somewhere (in Italy it's not, instead)...
