Yesterday we beats Czech Republic 2-1 but today our girls lost to Greece and wont make Tokyo

Sorry for your girls but obviously I'm very happy for ours. Unfortunately I think our run will end in the semifinals. Will be very hard for us against Russia, especially since our second team is too young/inexperienced for this so our first team has to do all the work. Vicky is 36 and playing with injury so I don't know if she can really handle this.

If they manage to qualify it will be an amazing story, after she made her Olympic debut in Athens as a 19 yo, played in Beijing and London, missed Rio, got pregnant, came back after giving birth, had a very bad injury and was out for almost a year and was going to miss Tokyo, then the Games got postponed so she had another chance, now here she is. I hope she tries to make it to Paris if they don't qualify for Tokyo but I'm not sure if her body is capable of it. She's had a very long career and probably wants to have more children.

Good luck to them!

    • India and Pakistan totally losing the plot in this sport, sad.

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Have you already started looking for the hundreds of commemorative 2 euro coins? There are loads of them, including sports-themed ones.
    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
