Australia needed 30 hours of travel to reach Honduras for this play-off game ! , they could have saved their energy if they defeated Thailand 3-1 back in Sydney !

Italy failed to qualify to WC only once in 1958 , which's their only 2nd absence in history of WC , with 1930 when there wasn't qualifications for the tournament
