Conte has this group of players and defeated Belgium and Spain and barely lost to World Champions Germany in quarterfinals , Mancini didn't have super stars like England or France but won the Euro with the best Italian performance ever , Spalletti is the 1st one to be blamed here IMO

Conte had an experienced and stable defense based on Juventus: Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini + Buffon. The attack was weak but there were some foundations. Currently, every formation (without Donnarumma)is a collection of some random people who look like boys from the yard. Regarding winning Euro in 2021, it looks like an "accident at work". Without this one tournament, the Italian team is playing worse and worse and has an increasingly weaker squad: not qualifying for the World Cup twice in a row is a disgrace.

Foden just landed today after moving back to England for the birth of his Child and he starts despite having Antony Gordan on bench and Saka after 3 matches with a helped assist start also despite having Cole Palmer , only Kobe Mainoo is the change in English starting line up
