I really hope the 4th place lit a fire for the Canadian men - they were right there with all the other teams. I hate finishing 4th but the two 4th place finishes give me a lot of hope.

I believe it was 3rd fastest behind Chalmers and Apple who both went sub-47.  Still, a very good time that looks good for future races.  

 

Man, Canada's time today would have gotten them bronze at the last WC and Olympics.

I may be overtired but I found the encouragement from his coach and Margelidon's hug of his opponent at the end incredibly moving.

First boxing victory for Canada as Caroline Veyre wins over Croatia.

Well now we have to root for Margelidon's last opponent to win his next match so he can have a chance at bronze.  I believe he's the defending WC so not a stretch to think he'll make the final.
