Vektor 3,195 Posted August 6, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2019 (edited) The official Hungarian venues: New Budapest Arena, Budapest, Capacity: more than 20,000 (new) Pick Aréna, Szeged, Capacity: 8,000 Főnix Hall, Debrecen, Capacity: 6,500 So Veszprém won't be a host city, because expanding the Veszprém Aréna would be too expensive. Why isn't its current 5,000 capacity enough for the group stage? I have no clue. And why aren't we just using the László Papp Sport Aréna with its 12,500 capacity instead of building the biggest handball arena ever in Budapest? Well, I think at this point we just want to make it obvious that we will build literally everything for a SOG even if we will never host one. EupenM 150 Posted November 1, 2020 #7 Share Posted November 1, 2020 Ok, this week qualifiers start , but France will not play any of the two scheduled matches. There are 2 reasons: Covid-19 in Greece and "no physical preparing of Belgium players". So now, I need to wait until January( the 2nd window) to watch our team's first match since Euro 2020
