I saw a replay of her run just some ten minutes ago. She is really unlucky this season, hopefully things will change for the better in the next season.

Yeah, she is getting back to five years ago when she used to win slalom by 1.5 secs.

Based on what exactly is Shiffrin called 'the greatest of all time' by (largely English-language) media, surely it's not just the number of WC wins? Because that of course says something about both her (in a great sense) and about the competition, one might argue.

 

Although the whole 'greatest of all time/GOAT' terminology has been greatly devalued in the past 4-5 years or so in the world of sports, with every bit of media and their mom constantly talking about it
