Only five are going though, as @brunamoura mentioned a few days ago, Jonte Treasure broke his hand in a fall on a slippery floor in Livigno last weekend and is back in Australia after surgery.

That is right, I forgot that.  I still like the fact that they are willing to commit money to the future of the sport.

Technically they could still send him. If they’d already paid for everything, and he asked to go, there’s nothing stopping them from allowing that. I’m sure he won’t end up going, but I’m just merely pointing out a technicality.

    • Atalanta is probably playing the most beautiful football in Europe right now: spectacular and effective. It's nice to watch and they don't have to spend a lot of money for it.   Inter is playing very economically. It's not impressive but it's consistently collecting points. It's also the only team in the Champions League that hasn't conceded a goal this season.   Milan played very poorly yesterday but they won. They have 9 points and are close to qualifying for the play-offs.

    • Unfortunate, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm looking forward to Thursday evening, when the team captain's meeting is over and we have our very first World Cup start list of the season. Always a cool moment to see who's there and everything
    • Today I unpacked some of the boxes in which we have put my way too many books to move to our house, and I came across these beauty's I hadn't seen for a while     Absolutely recommended, tough to get for a decent price, but they are such an interesting read with lots of very interesting little stories! Still looking for at least 1900, 1904 and 1906, but not really in the right moment to spend money on that now, so the wait goes on
