Streaming quality seems pretty good. I might have to watch a few events after the Commonwealth Games.

Yea the organizers partnered with the biggest media company here and the quality is clearly better than Asian Para Games. I personally hate the CEO but have to admit without him agreeing to cover these Games probably there won't be a stream for these Games.

Some long awaited news on the next potential Asian Winter Games: https://www.infobae.com/aroundtherings/articles/2022/08/04/skiing-amongst-the-dunes-saudi-arabia-signals-interest-in-hosting-2029-asian-winter-games/

Not sure about the viability, but nice to see people haven’t forgotten about the AWG.

  • 5 weeks later...

:SVK is again European Games 2015 Athletics champions :d

In 2015 we won the Baku gimmick athletics competition but a month later after DSQ of :AZE Marshin (Originally 3rd in Hammer Throw (Doping)), :AUT passed to 1st plance, since their Hammer Throw athlete moved from 4th to 3rd place and thus gained 1 more point to his team, Austria had then 459 points, a half point more Than Slovakia (Our points did not change since Lomnický won the Hammer Throw competition already then)...

But now after 7 years our NOC and Athletics federation received a notification about the change of results, thanks to the newly confirmed DSQ for doping of Austrian Elisabeth Niederer (originally 4th in the 1500m competition, resulted in Austria losing the points from this event) and that Slovakia will regain its original Gold medal

So we will change the medals with Austria for the second time, first we won Gold, they won silver, 7 months later we send them the gold and they send us the silver, and now once again we will send them their silver medals and they have to send to us our gold medals :hyper::lol:

  • 3 weeks later...

Just watching the OCA General Assembly. Saudi Arabia proposes 47 events for the 2029 AWG

Only Alpine skiing, Snowboarding, Freestyle skiing, Hockey, Short Track speed skating, Curling and Figure skating would be held (the ice sports would have 19 events)

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.

    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
