The report lists silver for Turkey and Austria. The medal table lists silver for Austria and bronze for Turkey. Crazy.

and this link lists both as silver medalists. This is really a Hercules labor to work with this universiade edition crap results site :d

Mexico won both events today in diving. :champion:

Good performances, although none to challenge for a medal at World Champs.

Still, congratulations to Ma Jin's squad (that's the name of a chinese coach working in Mexico for at least 12 years)

Atrocious scores. It's unbelievable how bad balance beam finals have been in the last few years.

Italians celebrating after the Taiwanese gymnast fell. Disgusting. Let this be a reminder that not only Brazilians can be assholes. Italians too.

Also, this means Ferlito got the gold medal. She has bad form overall in her tumbling passes and her routine does not flow very well, so the fact that she was awarded a gold medal is a bit surprising, but the level was quite low. Farah Abdul placing fourth is heartbreaking, especially considering how boring Perebinosova's routine is (although she has much better form, I have to admit). Even so, Perebinosova is very uncomfortable to watch because she always looks like she hates gymnastics and is being forced to perform. Ugh.

    • It's an interesting question, Norway is certainly expanding their efforts into a number of new sports. So, that cannot help but to peal off a few more natural athletes. I know their training methods are kinda rocking the world in a number of summer endurance sports.  I can't really speak to they dynamics of their development program. Their men's nordic programs largely always seem to be ridiculously deep, overwhelmingly so the last decade or so.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
