Beautiful Langley, B.C. is hosting the final stage of North American League. Canada has a hard task at hand, as they need to defeat USA by three positions to qualify.

 

Mexico has meanwhile already secured the qualification for the Finals. It's usually them that are left with hard task, but the improvement of Mexican show jumping over the last year has been nothing short of remarkable.

Commentator 1: "Now this is what we in the States would call clutch."

 

Commentator 2: "What is clutch?"

Apparently that commentator is Scottish.

Hmm, well it is more of an American term but as a sports commentator then they should know. But then again equestrian commentators are not always well-versed in sports other than equestrian so no, that doesn't surprise me then

Still remember their victory at the Aga Khan at the Dublin Horse Show last summer. Wonderful team

Canada secures the win with a round to spare! No Finals for them though, as the USA have done enough to qualify.

 

Good to see Canada finally putting a strong team performance.
