There's no video, luckily. It happened right before the live broadcast started, but apparently he crashed into a ditch and hit a concrete 'pipe'/tube that was in there, straight on the head.

Apparently, he his this thing, if it is correct that the person on the second photo witnessed it and is pointing out where it happened.

For the record, he didn't hit this culvert with his head but more like with his entire body. The internal injuries were allegedly massive and he didn't stand a chance to survive. It sounds like his heart stopped beating from the force of the impact alone.

Someone standing there made a video right when it happened (so just to be clear: even though you don't see much details, this is a deadly crash and one can assume not everyone wants to see that).

According to a rider who was right behind him, Lambrecht most likely lost control and then crashed.

Autopsy concluded Lambrecht died of massive internal bleeding in the stomach area.

Jumbo Visma's wonder juice keeps on working, this time Jonas Vingegaard of all places won a rather hard stage in Poland, ahead of Pavel Sivakov and Jai Hindley.

 

It seems to be so clear which teams are using the (legal, for now) wonder juice: more than ever there's a group of teams that are way overperforming and a group of teams that are way underperforming
