Yeah, it was mentioned in our medias when he announced it. In other hand, That´s not surprising at all, the guy is a endurance sports fanatic, Did you know he regularly cycled through the hardest Tour de France stages during his pre-season preparations :d

Imagine just a second climbing the Tourmalet with his body weight and build lol :p

Miloš Kelemen became the 75th :SVK player (74th if not counting Stan Mikita) to score a goal in NHL  This year already the 4th Slovak to score his NHL first goal after Slaf, Regenda and Adam Ružička

The Beijing 2022 bronze medalist scored in his 9th game for the Arizona Coyotes last night against the Sharks eating alive no one else than Karlsson one of the best defenders in the league :hyper:

And after his first goal in the next match came also his first NHL fight :p Resulting in his first 17 penalty minutes in the league

from :SVK view also worth to notice that Tomáš Tatar finally scored a goal !!! :p  One would say first since the discovery of Americas

Erik Karlsson :SWE is the 6th defenseman in the history to hit 100 points in one season. And that in one of the worst teams in the league.

Elias Pettersson :SWE also made his first 100 points season.

Right now two :SWE goalies top the goalie stats, Linus Ullmark and Filip Gustavsson.

Not too bad for Sweden. :)

so, the Regular Season is over...

Boston dominated the Eastern Conference and the entire league, Vegas suprisingly were the best in the West (also thanks to the many ionjuries that frustrated the Colorado Avalanche through the season, even if they still managed to win the Central Division and earn the no.2 seed in the playoffs out West).

here's the full final standings (by Conference)

https://www.nhl.com/standings/2022/conference

and this is the playoffs 1st round schedule

https://www.nhl.com/news/nhl-playoffs-round-1-schedule/c-280159064

not many very exciting matchups to be honest...

NY Rangers vs NJ Devils and Toronto vs Tampa in the Eastern Conference and L.A. vs Edmonton out West are the closest series on paper.

an upset could also come from the Dallas vs Minnesota pairing, maybe.

all the other series have a clear favourite in my opinion.

it's the NHL playoffs. Anything can happen, you never know. Hopefully we'll see a few upsets in the first round.

Everyone thought the 2018-19 Lightning were a clear favourite in the 1st round before they got swept by the Blue Jackets.

Canucks with another embarrassing season :wall: Seventh time in eight years that they’ve missed the playoffs  Hoping the draft lottery gods can help us get Bedard :fingers:, although we’ll need some luck (3.0%).

In the lower AHL Šimon Nemec set a new all-time record of top points scoring U19 defencemen in AHL history, with 34 points (12+22) is now the sole all-time leader beating the 33 points record of Dave Maloney from 1974/75

Great news for the overall #2 draft pick, Not as great news for :SVK NT fans...as he qualified Utica to the Play-Offs...and NJ will surely keep him in his Stanley Cup taxi team if the Comets will flop in the 1st round as well :p

The last night´s record setting 34th season point
