I doubt he is as tall as William Speed Lane Fox-Pitt (yes, that's his real name).

Bugan improves in Special and scores 69.8%. He will therefore take 208 points for Olympic rankings in Munich. 

 

He even got 72% from an Australian judge who will be on the panel in Tokyo next year. More to come.

 Nayel Nassar finished 2nd in Global champions tour Hamburg by just 0.23 seconds behind the local hero Daniel Desseur , 2nd podium finish for Egyptian riders this year after Abdel Kader Said 2nd palce finish in Mexico very nice

Exciting to see  Zimbabwe in 2nd place after day 1 of dressage at Bramham (arguably the most competitive annual 4* event).

New Olympic formats are being tested at Hagen Future Champions event this week.

 

Dressage is using the heat system, which in retrospect I kind of like. There were 6 heats, with Top 2 + 6 lucky losers progressing to the individual final.

 

Jumping will only have two individual rounds, so I am expecting a big jump-off, unfortunately.
