No, she is still half a minute from the WCH Standard, and there are already 27, (29 to be precise), athletes that have achieved the WCH Standard. The target number is 27, so no room for her.

But she might start in next year's ECH in Paris on the 10,000m, and with many of the best Europeans focusing on the Olympics, she could have chance to win a medal. Of course this depend on who are actually going to compete in next year's ECH because she is nowhere near a medal if the best starts.

What happens if target number is exceeded during qualification period?

Nothing really. The target numbers are just there to have some sort of maximum limit/cap of athletes at a WCH.

At the moment these distances and disciplines have more than the target number:

Men's 5000m 43 (TN: 42)

Men's High Jump 38 (TN: 32)

Men's Marathon 128 (TN: 100)

Men's 20km Race Walk 63 (TN: 60)

Men's 50km Race Walk 56 (TN: 50)

Women's 100m 49 (TN: 48)

Women's 200m 57 (TN: 56)

Women's 10000 29 (TN: 27)

Women's High Jump 34 (TN: 32)

Women's Pole Vault 33 (TN: 32)

Women's Long Jump 35 (TN: 32)

Women's Shot Put 33 (TN: 32)

Women's Heptathlon 25 (TN: 24)

Women's Marathon 127 (TN: 100)

Women's 20km Race Walk 61 (TN: 60)

Currently there are 84 athletes more than the target number. However, some federations have a stricter qualification standard than the WCH standard, so the final number will fall.

Where can one find lists for qualification rankings for 2019 (top 3 from each nation only)? Many Czech athletes are relying on ranking to make it through.

If you mean qualification ranking for WCH, this should help you:

Ok, so you group of YouTubers lead (or challenged/offended) by that (insert any word you’d anger want to be called) Logan Paul held a real track and field meet over the weekend. There was a guy who won the 100m in a time of 10.8, which would’ve seen him advance to the final at the 2019 Pacific Games  :p

    • Lara Malsinier and Alex Insam are junior World Championship medalists from a few years ago. Maybe it was possible to provide them with private teams then and now they could even fight for a single podium from time to time. I mean especially women, because there, for example, Canada or France can be in the top, so why not us? Now Rodlauer from Austria has joined the Italian team, but for now there is a huge gap to the top and only Sieff and Lara Malsinier are jumping well. There was success in the Summer Grand Prix, but with a weak line-up. Even 3rd place in a single competition in winter is worth more than winning the LGP with a terrible line-up.   It remains to wait but I fear that the most we can count on is a dramatic fight with France and maybe Finland in the mixed competition at the World Championships. Bresadola probably won't return this season, so the inconsistent Insam remains.
    • When did Kim Min-Seok switch to Hungary?
    • Earlier today, Taiwan beat the USA    Of course it's car from the best US tram but it's still a big deal for Taiwanese baseball
    • And even here we lose to France? I really don't know what's the point of organizing the Olympics if you can't make progress in practically any sport. France has the Olympics in 2030 and there they will definitely prepare 100%, just like for Paris. We can't do that. It's obvious that in ski jumping we have no chance of winning medals, but decency dictates that we should at least win here with a France like that.
    • There is no snow in Lillehammer
    • Finally the ski jumping season begins 11 teams in the (real) mixed team competition, no Switzerland.
    • Most of our athletes are constantly bothered by something: the pressure to qualify, the miss of pressure when they have already qualified, etc. It's the same in football: at the beginning of the season they are a poor form becouse of a little played and at the end of the season they are tired. They are always looking for excuses. A real champion always plays at a high level, like Sinner, and doesn`t look for 1000 excuses for his poor performance.
    • Think it is mentally difficult for the two teams with the Olympic place guaranteed and the pressure off, whereas everyone else is absolutely playing at 110%.  I'm sure things will be better once they get to Milan.
    • There's no point in cheating, these were terrible European Championships for us. Retronaz out of form, Constantini with a huge number of big mistakes. Only illness can excuse it... We've probably lost the last 10 matches with Switzerland... It looks like Constantini had the tournament of her life in mixed doubles in 2022 in Beijing and she will never reach this level again.
    • What good is it to us if we took 4th place and lost an important match? If Constantini was sick, I forgive her, but I'm afraid that the Italian team will not exceed a certain level. Yes, they have made progress since 2022, but they lack that one decisive step to become a class team. Here we lost all important matches with teams at our/higher level: Sui x2, Sco x2, Swe. We only won with the one we were supposed to win with. I don't believe in a medal for this team in Cortina. After 2022, it seemed that Constantini could dominate women's curling, but it didn't happen that way. After Sinner's recent successes, I opened my eyes a bit and started to demand more from our athletes, coaches, and officials. I have no intention of being satisfied with 4th place, because with this approach, you won't achieve anything great.
