Just want to point this will not be cancelled in the appeal because this was the appeal.

It's possible she takes it to a different court but that decision may only apply to the country the court is based.

Like Zubkov, the bobsleigh driver, being officially the 2014 Olympic champion in Russia but not in the rest of the world

there's more than that...

CAS decisions are subject to the Swiss Civil Court...if someone appeals a CAS decision in front of the SCC, then the consequential ruling must be ratified in the entire world, not only Switzerland...

p.s. the Court for Human Rights can judge all they want, but it's not officially recognized by most Countries in the World (USA included), therefore their pronounciations can't overrule CAS decisions (it's the same for the International Justice Court, which can't judge citizens of Nations not officially supporting it...or, better they can judge them, but their ruling has absolutely no effect on their lives)...

That is why, there are only 3 logical options:

1) Compete with the men

2) Allow performance enhancing in sport

3) Choose another career

Yes, i agree. 3rd option should be best one, she has 2 golds at OG, now its time for something else.

Those masculine types of women athletes like her, Wambui and others...it has to stop. They can be whatever they want, but they are having huge advantage over others. And thats it.

I doubt that her race wont be argument for her appeal. Plus, transgender organisations and so on...

This case started as sport case but it will end as usual...mumbo jumbo about democracy, human rights and so on...

East Africa dominates middle distance running anyway. There is no equality in sports and performance has paramount value. You're talking politics which should be removed from sport under all circumstances.

Sports is the ultimate playing field for politics

No real chance because men will dominate all the "open" categories anyway. Even women with a higher testosterone level will stand no chance against biological men :p This much is pretty obvious :)

Only if they start allowing animal sports as well. Throw a referee in there and let the roosters fight. :redcard:

With the changing gender standards it’s bound to happen at one point or another.

So how would you feel if this was happening to a Serbian (my bad, I’m really sorry I thought you were from Montenegro, but I thought you weren’t). So if it was happening to a Montenegrin?

So,for some of you its normal to have her competing with testosterone level around 10,15 or even higher with other girls with testosterone level of 2,3 or 5? And knowing what testosterone is, how it works and knowing that its also a doping? Wow.

Has IAAF added field events to that rule? Women with high levels of testosterone got 3 times bigger advantage in Hammer Throw than in 800m. Otherwise it's even more uglier  and obviously aimed at particular athletes rather than fighting for clean sports.

according to you so the asian athletes should be ban from Judo/Karate/Table tennis/Badminton ?

Thankfully I'm not a racist or homophobe  Asians from those sports are admired in ex-USSR. Football and athletics walk hand-in-hand in racist department here, especially if you're black.

Yes, i am from Montenegro.

I would feel exactly the same. Principle is same, nation is of no importance here.

IAAF only emphasised 400-1500 m. Dont know why. It should extend to all track and field events.

So, yes, i agree with you.

    • Canoe Sprint There is a now a cap of 5 athletes per gender in the kayak events (down from 6 in 2024). The World Championships has been replaced by the Olympic Qualification Rankings.   K2 lost 2 boat quotas while K4 has gained 1 boat quota. Quota distribution is quite complicated as it usually is for canoe sprint. They also force nations to compete in a minimum number of events based on the number of athletes qualified; 2 and 3 athletes per boat class must compete in 2 events, 4 must compete in all 3 events and 5 must compete in all 3 events and have two entries in the K1 event.
    • Wrestling will have a completely new format, I do not like the changes. ranking isn't really a good idea in this sport, this will force wrestlers to compete in so many events to collect points. which is not good for their health. specially with the current UWW ranking points distribution system which is plain stupid   they are also gifting 18 quotas to very weak countries by that last qualification event. but I understand their point of view. can't wait to see lots of Russian wrestlers compete for weak countries for that 1 available quota.
    • Canoe Slalom Quotas from men's/women's K1 have been moved to men's/women's KX1. K1 will now have 14 quotas while KX1 will have 10 quotas. C1 remains at 17 quotas. Athletes may participate in other events up to a maximum of 2 athletes per NOC.   The World Championship qualifier has been dropped in favour of the Olympic Qualification Rankings (7 K1, 10 C1, 3 KX1), afterwards you have the Continental Qualifiers (1 per boat) and then a new Global Qualifier (2 per boat).   There were a few changes regarding ways to ensure an athlete can only obtain 1 quota. The biggest being at each stage the boat priority is K1 > KX1 > C1 for the rankings and KX1 > K1 > C1 for the continental/global qualifiers. This basically means if the same athlete qualifiers in multiple boats then the quota will be given to the kayak over canoe.
    • I'll post significant changes periodically. I'll start with the recently added/updated documents.   Archery The addition of mixed compound (12M & 12W) forced a reduction on the recurve side. The mixed compound quotas are distributed as follows   Host - 1 World Championships - 3 Continental Games - 5 World Ranking List - 2 Final Qualifier - 1   To compensate the team events will now only have 8 nations. 2 quotas were removed from the World Ranking List and 2 were removed from the Final Qualifier.   Individual recurve and mixed recurve distribution is the same
    • In Rome, it would be useful to roof the swimming pool complex at Foro Italico, possibly with the option of retracting the roof and covering the tennis court complex. Overall, there's a lot to do, for example, compared to Budapest, but unfortunately, this is Italy How many years has Roma been building their new stadium, and they keep pushing back the completion date- now I read it's 2030? and it should be ready. The same goes for Milan- there should be a modern complex of indoor swimming pools with 50 meters pools, etc., but there's a problem with one stupid football stadium, which will only be built after an ultimatum from UEFA
