Men's Road Cycling UCI World Tour 2022 (Giro d'Italia)

One bit of tradition is mostly going to be gone though: RAI is no longer producing the broadcasts :cheer:

RAI's producing team in cycling is mostly known for being able to mess everything up at the slightest hint of rain in the distance, as so many Italian races - the Giro especially - have shown in the previous years. At least stormy weather makes it heroic :d

Never mind, this was awful, they basically missed the deciding part

What a finish though!

Ewan fell meters from the finish line, and he was lying there for minutes. Just WHY?

If you lay on the ground, you lose important seconds and positions, you must get up as fast as you can, and you can care about your wound after the finish line.

He is a sprinter and do not care for general classification therfore time and positions. Only for winning single stages.

Never mind.

Finish pretty nice. The whole stage seems to were boring.

If he doesn't care about the overall, why is he there at all? It's like swimming the first 100 meters of the 1500, sounds dumb

Grand Tour Cycling is not about one prize: there are maybe 30-40 different prizes in a three week race.

I didn't watch the stage today, but I read the results, it says 156 riders crossed the finish line at the same time, not even a second difference happened. I can't imagine this...

I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
