Guys Remember

 

In the Gold medal match the Overtime is

 

20 minute "sudden death" 3 skaters vs 3 overtime until the goal is scored, if not, there will be another 20 minutes and so...so the match can be played in theory until tomorrow

 

but 3 against 3 format between CAN and FIN so yeah the overtime can last also some 15 seconds only

Btw, one of our experts, Olli Jokinen, said that if asked from the players & coaches, people would want an 5v5 OT. Perhaps continuous OT.

yeah, 3 vs 3 OT is OK in regular season games, just to have 5 more mins of entertainment...

 

but when it really matters, it must be the true game of hockey, AKA always 5 vs 5 (except for the penalties of course)...

 

IIHF should take the NHL rules and stop (also the rules about fighting, which in the IIHF administrated tournaments suck badly)...
