1) sure...but I don't know if it will be available in Italy, since Sportitalia bought the TV rights* and will broadcast the event (tomorrow they are scheduled to go live also in the morning -at about 10/10.30 a.m. if I remember well- for the late preliminary rounds)...

we have to wait until tomorrow to know if we can only rely on the "Criscitiello band" (I already imagine what and when they will show something on saturday and sunday ) or we're lucky enough to be able to watch also the IJF streams...

*p.s. if I think that last year we had the judo worlds on fox sports HD and this year they are on Sportitalia...

There have been commercials about it for the past 3 weeks. Why would they do so if they were not to broadcast it?

because in Italy another tv network bought the tv rights...

unfortunately that tv network has a very poor picture quality and, above all, there's no guarantee that they will broadcast the entire championship, especially the saturday and sunday sessions are at a really high risk of being ignored (or scheduled as a tape delay in the middle of the night)...

Because Azerbaijan.

 

I'm pretty sure they also put tons of commercials for Tour of Azerbaijan, as if that's something remotely important.

Paula Pareto got a very decent draw for tomorrow but I don't expect her to have a good result this time since Judo hasn't been her priority for the last two years. I hope next year she can try full dedication again.

I guess most of the Italian guys next time round should have their training in Lourdes rather than Japan...
