Swimming and athletics are going to be must see TV this summer. Raise your hand if you remember when these two huge sports were a medal desert for Canada. 

 

6 medals in each the last two cycles, don't want to jinx anything but it looks like that'll be beaten in Paris.

New PB in the women’s 400m for Mackenzy Pierre-Webster, with 52.22at the ACC Championships! This year alone she’s already dropped almost a full second off of it! Might be a contender for a spot on the women’s 4x400m relay for the Olympics (really intrigued to see who Athletics Canada select)

More news lesser down the ranks, 20 year-old Max Davies produced a new PB of 3:39.80 in the men’s 1500m at the LA Track Fest! That’s about two seconds better than his previous mark!
