Would be extremely weird. Spain must pay insane money for him to go there. I am sure he could have gone to pretty much any world-class country (or France) for a lot of money. Grassmarket 3,404 Posted March 11, 2022 #37 Share Posted March 11, 2022 Live swimming from Edinburgh this weekend, fortunately not outdoors. Field looks like it’s mainly University-based, but that includes a lot of nations. Early chance for Comms & European QTs. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCISRIjZR0Dn8Ps7FHIw6IQg

Grassmarket 3,404 Posted March 18, 2022 #39 Share Posted March 18, 2022 Good to see some opposition from non-participants, but as long as the women directly affected are too cowardly to take a public stand this bully is going to be continue bullying then. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10625251/Trans-swimmer-Lia-Thomas-wins-500-yard-freestyle-NCAA-championships.html#comments And in case you think that the NCAA means nothing, the true champion is Olympic 400m IM silver medallist Emma Weyant. So Thomas is capable of destroying the sport at a global level. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10626265/Uni-Virginia-swimmer-hailed-heroine-coming-second-NCAA-final-trans-rival-Lia-Thomas.html Makedonas
Makedonas 2,155 Posted March 30, 2022 #40 Share Posted March 30, 2022 The Greek Aquatics Federation requested that the swimming competition at the Mediterranean Games be pushed back a week in order to give swimmers the time to compete in both the World Championships and the Mediterranean Games. This request has now been granted, so the swimming will be from 1-5 July instead of 26-30 June (swimming at the World Championships will be from 18-25 June).
