Jarl Magnus Riiber wins his 10th victory this Winter.  

With this victory, he has now secured the Overall WC title. He is the first Norwegian to win the Overall WC title in 20 years (1998/99 season, Bjarte Engen Vik.)

and Herola (just edged out by Riiber) missed out on the first Finnish victory in about 9 years...

it would have been nice to see another winter sports negative streak stopped, after Italy won their first world cup race in 23 years in women's Luge singles...

it would have made this day even more "historical"...

Yeah it would have been nice to see Finland back on top of the podium. Oh well, maybe it will happen next weekend in Lahti. 

 

p.s It was Herola who came second, not Hirvonen.
