Well. For a bunch of the riders it's the worst event. I know that Amalie prefers a tough scratch because her acceleration isn't quite as good as some others. Therefore I guess she went for the long sprint meaning that her chances to win were very small, but she could get a decent spot for the next events.

They should remove omnium period. It's points race with starting points, woohoo, so exciting.

I disagree about removing the omnium, but they should not have a points race in it  

 

1. Sprint time trial

2. Individual pursuit

3. Elimination race

4. Something explosive yet not individual...keirin?  

 

It should quite simply be a good mix of sprint and endurance.

Can I just say that I am mad at Simona Krupeckaitė for missing the sprint races and only starting in Keirin She left herself with very small medal chances this year.
