@Olympian1010 Okay, since talking Iron Mountain in a biathlon thread makes no sense, I checked back and it turns out they held the Continental Cup there this weekend. The World Cup is set to return on 22nd/23rd February 2020.

Woman might compete at ski flying world championship in Vikersund in 2022. At least that's what the norwegian ski federation wants.

Gregor Sclierenzauer will end the season now , he's not sure if this is his retirement but admits that it's hard not to compete.

Andreas Stjernen has decided to end his career . He will retire after RAW Air.

FIS apparently wants to disband the Ski Flying World Championship completely. Instead, they want to have a yearly "Grand Slam' tournament held in Vikersund, Planica, Bad Mittendorf and Oberstdorf, most likely competed during a single week. The winner of Grand Slam would then get  1.000.000 Euro as a reward

I really think they can imagine better ways to spend that money? So what, we'll have one week of ski flying and that's it? Do they know how incredibly intense ski flying is on the human body, I wonder? Imagine flying for a week, basically non-stop, while also travelling from Norway to Slovenia to Austria to Germany...
