Lesser fighting his absolute balls off for that 8th place and Olympic qualifying, but he ends up short. Still, 10th is a half nomination, so that's excellent.

 

Few things are a better show of athleticism than Lesser on one of his true fighting days :bowdown:

Anais Bescond may miss the mass start tomorrow. She is already sick the whole week and also today the start was decided only very spontaneously. She will have to see if she can do it again tomorrow.

Great day of racing.  Congrats to E. Oberg and the French!!!  Such fun to see the crowds on the course going crazy!  I had forgotten how miserable those two steep hills are.

Hermann :GER also miss the Mass Start! She hasn‘t been feeling good yesterday and will therefore not start today and already travel to Davos for training

Wow that is 20% of the field.  Stina Nillson in her first mass start.  Great to see Japan in the mass start as well with Tachizaki.
