 Almost ready for the heptathlon. Only 16 is a bit barren, however.

Apparently he got a mental blow at the start: made the wrong choice of shoes, which he realized when everyone else was on different shoes, but he didn't have another pair with him.

After two full days and a bit, including a weekend day, I think we can conclude that a lot of people solve this problem by simply not going to the stadium  

 

For a Track Town USA, the overall feel is disappointingly....unenthousiastic. Time to go to Nairobi.

Anyone knows why Brooke Andersen's 4th throw was invalid? 

 

She definitely didn't step out of the circle and the hammer definitely landed inside the lines.

 

Edit: they looked at it and now it's legal, measured and good for 1st place.
