After yesterdays quite expected results, today´s session finished by more or less surprises. Especially in the M K1 and Adachi loss to the Chinese paddler, + no medal for in W C1. Yeah, sure, this was the only event Japan was not favorite in, but to finish even without any medal is a real flop for their team.

 

Also winning the final medal standing 2-2-0 over 2-1-0 is a surprising stop of Japanese domination in this sport in Asia in the last couple of years

2018, the year of MSE fighting to have the worst results website. Its a shame because everything else about these games have been pretty good.
