Highly doubt it. Eteri's methods are nothing new to the judges.

Probably not. The days of 6.0 scoring & judgemental places is over. You can't underscore anyone for doing a technical element in a fixed points system. Maths will always carry the content.

Wimping out as usual. The IOC know full well that other teams will boycott the ceremony, so there won’t be a ceremony.

I’m not sure they would. More likely they would have been protests during the ceremony.

You might have to open the link. The list is long (and nothing new).

I will put the names Larry Nassar and Simone Biles here and it's enough

I think the IOC knows today might have killed the Olympics long term. They going to have to push for total bans on Russians for 2024 and 2026 or people simply won’t watch anymore.

Wow this is scary.  How come she is still a coach is beyond me.  This woman is totally crazy.

She’s the kind of person that deserve to be eaten alive by wolves along with her whole entourage.

One of the most disgusting women in sport.

Meagan Duhamel is suggesting an athlete boycott of the women’s singles.

The British press headlines are the IOC worse nightmare. 2024 and 2026 had to have no Russians or simply nobody will watch.

It's easy to call for a boycott when it isn't your Olympic performance on the line.

Only way it would work is if you get a large majority of athletes to agree to it, including almost all of the top athletes ( :AZE :BEL :JPN :POL :KOR :USA )

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid

It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places.
