I'm glad :FRA P/C are going to win this, they deserve it, but I sort of hope they retire because their programs are so boring xD

A funeral music for free dance. This is one reason I dislike figure skating. Who da hell dances during a funeral?

Even if not exactly crowd-pleasing, their artistry is impressive.

I'm impressed by their skating, I just don't like it :P

Still, this is absolutely a clear win, anyone else winning would have been a scandal.

Well, of the "boring" routines, theirs was clearly the best :p

Again, I totally agree that they are the deserving winners, and it isn't a close call at all. But if this was a competition of who had the best program I'd want them ranked pretty low.

Invited Chinese spectators almost knew nothing about ice dancing and almost all playing phones instead of applausing.

Kind of inevitable given the tickets are distributed by invitation. The crowds have certainly not been a highlight at these Olympics, even accounting for the reduced capacity.

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.
