According to my calculations the following quotas via olympic ranking are arithmetic:

APM: Lauris Strautmanis :LAT
APW: Sylvia Steiner :AUT

TRM: James Willett :AUS
TRW: Alessandra Perilli :SMR (She can qualify at the European Championships)

SKM: Gabriele Rossetti :ITA (He or another italian can qualify at the European Championships)

Just now our rifle and pistol olympic trials completed. According to selection policy

rifle and pistol team squad likely to be-

10 m ARM - Sandeep Singh + Arjun babuta . big upset here our lone individual world champion rudrankksh patil failed to make cut by very narrow margin.

10 m ARW - Elavenil valarivan +Ramita . Domestically strong discipline , Ramita shot 636+ something today to secure her place.

10 m APM - Sarabjot and Arjun Singh cheema .
10 m APW - Rhythm sangwan + manu bhaker expected.

50 M 3P men - Ashwary pratap tomar + swapnil kusale .  Ashwary dominated competition by 590,591 and 595 like scores.

50 M 3P women- Sift kaur samra + Anjum Moudgil .. WR holder sift started very poorly but finished strongly in last trial .

25 M RFP - Anish + Vijyaveer Sidhu

25 M Pistol women- Manu bhaker + Esha Singh . Manu dominated the entire trails with three 585 scores and 47,42,40 scores in final . Two times world championship finalist Rhythm failed to make cut .

india have full 16 Qouta in R& P . As manu is selected for both pistol event so that  qouta likely to exchange with trap women .

    • I would prefer the 12 teams tournament in both genders, and give the almost 80/90 quotas to a lot of sports. For example, 32 could go to 4 more teams in each gender in basket 3x3. Then, the 12 team qualification i will do it like this:   Host quota gold medal of the previous olympic (-1 reduction to the confederation of the gold medal team) 3 to europe 1 oceania 2 south america 1 north america and caribe 1 africa 1 asia 1 playoff africa-asia 1 playoff of loser of africa-asia, 4th europe, 3th southamerica and 2nd north and caribe   and for the women probably the same changing south and north america quotas
    • Pity that UWW channel's subscription is so expensive - at least for me -. I wonder whether there are some free channels whereas to watch these European Wrestling Championships maybe even thru my VPN (perhaps some Turkish or Iranian or Japanese tv channels could be feasible ?). Thanks for your help.

    • 16 women's teams, because 12 is a shitty number for a tournament - both because the forced continental representation will lead to it being a relatively weak tournament and because you can not make a decent tournament with 12 teams, you'll be forced to have the super awful 'best third placed teams' nonsense.   0 men's teams   Instead of a total of 28, we go to a total of 16 teams. We gain 12 x whatever number of players are in a men's team for sports where the Olympics are important, we have a women's tournament with a decent format and we get rid of having junior championships at the Olympics, win-win-win

    • as usual, when a major tournament is held in China, it makes almost impossible to follow properly, especially when it comes to live broadcast    now, there's only a streaming on the official website working only on PCs, no YT, no apps, which means no comfortable TV watch    however, the first couple of days has already gone and we know the individual Sabre medallists...
