Has anyone seen the Continental Quotas for the Qualification Tournaments that FIH are supposed to confirm by 1 Feb 2023 (based on end Jan rankings)?

Women’s Olympic Qualifiers

Africa: 0

Asia: 4

Europe: 8

Oceania: 1

Pan America: 3

 

Men’s Olympic Qualifiers

Africa: 1

Asia: 5

Europe: 7

Oceania: 1

Pan America: 2

 

Must mean that all 8 qualifiers who have already made the EuroHockey finals in Germany in August go through automatically, unless they win or they are Wales/Scotland, with additional qualifiers (2 Women's and Men's teams) to be found on top.

So basically the top 2 (minus FRA women, SCO, WAL) of the Eurohockey division II will qualify to OQTs.

Pakistan is a team with a great heritage was surprised how they dropped level in such popular sport, even they didn't qualify for the last two olympics.

This means Ireland and Ukraine qualify to OQTs.

Absolutely shocking sentence, but kudos toour guys, I suppose it's our very first qualification tournament in field hockey

So if I understand correctly, Ukraine will qualify for the OQT's in both men and women because for our girls there is no competition due to France and Wales are ineligible for OQT?
