  • 3 weeks later...

Something you do not see often. A player scoring 2 goals in the last minute to tie the game.

Libor Hudáček showing his good form. Scored two goals in the very last minute :yes

2nd match played after his trade from Nizhnekamsk last week and already 4 goals scored

All this week´s IHL matches will start with a minute of silence and all players will wear a 10 on their helmets as tribute to Boris Sádecký deceased yesterday after the collapse last week during the match between Dornbirn and Bratislava Capitals.

Bratislava Capitals matches against Ljubljana and Znojmo originally scheduled this week are postponed to later date.

So 2 days after the tragic death of Boris Sádecký was today found the body of the Bratislava Capitals GM, the only 36 years old former player of Slovan Bratislava or HC Košice Dušan Pašek Jr.

It appears to be a suicide...

His father was Dušan Pašk Sr. Former legend of Czechoslovak National Team and Slovak hockey who was also found dead at 38 after commiting a suicide with a gun in 1998

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
