intoronto 4,244 Posted July 23, 2017 #115 Share Posted July 23, 2017 He got 800 points in the sprint race. He needs to drop that by a further 500 points and has to do that 5 times. It doesn't look good

dcro 10,182 Posted July 30, 2017 #117 Share Posted July 30, 2017 (edited) Madagascar has a new athlete... 16 year old Mialitiana Clerc. She was only 3 seconds behind the winner in her first race so it's safe to assume that she was well within 140 FIS points (FIS points yet to be published). Although, saying that now I see it's only 55 seconds race, but I imagine it still should be enough. https://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/results.html?sector=AL&raceid=91363 Edited July 30, 2017 by dcro intoronto 1 #banbestmen

intoronto 4,244 Posted July 30, 2017 #119 Share Posted July 30, 2017 Her bg is a cool story: http://www.midi-madagasikara.mg/sports/2017/06/02/jeux-olympiques-de-coree-la-belle-histoire-de-mialitiana-clerc-20e-francaise-en-ski/ She was actually born in Madagascar and was adopted at a young age to live in France. dcro 10,182 Posted August 4, 2017 #120 Share Posted August 4, 2017 Interestingly, the other Malagasy skier got really close to 140 points in today's races. Sadly for him, this is the last day of racing in South Africa, but it looks more promising now. #banbestmen
