Ahmad Badreddin Wais finished 47th in the 2018 Mediterranean Games road race. Interestingly, he’s listed as competing for Syria there. However, that might have been administratively necessary to compete, since the CIJM doesn’t currently recognize a refugee team. For record he did finish the race, but over the time limit.

I was bored, so I made this. This first part lists how many athlete quotas a nation has in each boat type per gender, and the second part lists the possible boat entries per event (countries listed the left of the “/“ must field a boat, countries have listed to the right have the option to field a boat). How’d I know you’d ask that? I think because your support for Ecuador is already so strong, and because they don’t really fit the small/lesser known criteria, this perhaps isn’t the right thread for that support. Maybe it’s time to open a National thread for Ecuador? That will absolutely work. I’ll add that to the first post when we get a few more users involved.
