It doesn't stop at the Olympics. Out of all the top teams, GB is the only one not to have anybody qualified in a sport that offers 18 sets of medals (wrestling).

There are too many embarrassing things to be spotted. I also don't expect a good performance in Rio. It may be emotionally driven but this is 2016 for me, a year in which everything goes wrong in personal life and sport has not been a good alternative this year. Well, except my own competitions that is. I could make them public here but then I will be known as the nerd here.

No doubts about that, Iceland were much better. England without any spirit and the goalkeeper issue since centuries is simply ridiculous. LDOG said he won't follow his team anymore so I will do the same until something changes. There are many other teams to support anyway.

What an awesome news! IAAF doesn't allow wild cards in steeplechase (for whatever reason), so she had to reach the standard and she did it. Steeplechase was always her event, but she always had to compete in 1500m at the big events because of that IAAF's rule. Her PB in 1500m is some 10 s slower than Olympic standard, just to show how stupid that rule is.

Sorry to say, but some of you are really simple-minded. To equate 52% of UK voters with "the English" is the same as saying the orange juice tasted awful while it actually contained 55% of oranges and 45% of at least 3 more different fruits.

A close and split decision is always treated as "the nation has chosen".

With a total of 0 athletes qualified, this should end discussions about how South Koreans cheat their way through.
