I understand your point, but qualifying an athlete will encourage UK Sport to fund an elite program in the Road to Tokyo 2020 and help the long term growth of the sport within GB. For the Women's whoever is chosen, Smith or Tiler, could break into the Top 10 in their event and then secure elite women's funding with a podium potential package. Event though we won't win a medal, it is still important to compete to inspire more people to participate in Weighlifting and grow the sport.
I see it the same way.
I don't get why they don't care more about wrestling. It's only Rattigan who loses her fights anyway but to become better you have to send athletes in every category. They don't even try qualifying for the Olympics. Not many people know GB has some history in freestyle wrestling.

I like to think it's because judges
Boxing itself is not the problem (and I like too much all fighting sports...so I can't stop watching them only because of their shameful administrators)...
The best thing in boxing is probably going for the TKO.

Joshua won't even try to qualify, since GBR have stated that no "real Pro" would be named...they would go till the end with the guys who have represented the Country through the whole Olympic cycle...
in any case, the established pro fighters will only be allowed to enter in the final Aiba Pro Boxing qualifying tournament in June...the other meets are only intended for the guys committed with aiba only...
p.s. I don't think Scheurich will qualify here in Samsun...she has to beat the current World Champion (Savannah Marshall, GBR) to get through to the final (and thus earn an Olympic spot)...and I don't see hw it could happen under normal circumstances (even if we know that in boxing there are no normal circumstances, especially under aiba rules)...
Marshall failed.

5th Place Match:
Uruguay 9 - 1 Trinidad and Tobago
Bronze Medal Match:
Canada 0 - 3 Chile
Gold Medal Match:
Argentina 6 - 0 USA
ARGENTINA
7th Title (out of 8 editions)
63 goals scored, 0 received
That's what I would call dominance.

For me, Number 1 and 4 are the best, but sadly none of them are very inspiring or amazing
Better than the London logo though, to be honest.

They still haven't figured out that Klinsmann is not a top coach?
Vamos Guatemala!

So far so bad.
From 8 to 0 golds? GB can do it.

I had thought you would have saved them on your own computer or something
In retrospect, I should have but I couldn't foresee what would happen.

To post a reply without a quote you h ave to use the reply box at the end of the page.
About the line, I think it's just the format which leaves more space between one line and the following one.
Strange, I did just that but it wouldn't stop quoting Wanderer.
Anyway, I understand your motivation problem. Now with everything gone, my work of the last three years is lost as well. I don't know if I will start these medal tables again...

Test.
Why do I quote Wanderer when I just want to reply?
Why do I leap a line? I find this software difficult to use to begin with.
