  1. So now our gold medals have come on 1. a judging error and 2. a fall by a japanese skater in the last lap . I'll take it! Also is it safe to say that Weidemann will be the closing ceremony flag bearer or could it be someone else?
  2. This is literally exactly what happened in the Salt Lake city world cup last year. Japan was leading Canada into the last lap before one of their skaters crashed. Can't remember if it was Takagi or not but insane that it's happened. Finally luck goes in our favour

  15. Just realized that Dubreuil is going to finish on the outer lane, really hope that's not too much of a problem
  16. Pretty good race from the women! Based on what we saw in the quarterfinals, beating the Dutch shouldn't be too much of a problem unless they were holding back. Japan is going to be tough though. Hopefully they can come through!
  17. Both Australian teams crashing in the 2nd quarterfinal
  18. Looks like we got a snowy day today for mixed snowboard cross
  19. If there's a good day to get that 2nd gold medal, today would be that day

  21. Awful day for the dutch short track team continues (aside from Schulting of course)
  22. Some very interesting first run results. Rahneva in the lead with Narracott 0.02 behind. Zhao Dan using the home track advantage to get the 3rd fastest run with two Germans behind. On the other hand, the world cup overall winner Bos is in 10th. Also have Flock in 14th and Nikitina in 18th. Also what a difference 4 years can make for the british program.
