  1. On the bright side, the only sports I really want to see live today is the F1 qualifying between roughly 15:00 and 16:00, so TAISC is definitely a high priority today as it should be
  2. I would as well if it were entirely up to me, but I'd feel bad letting my dad work on his 'dream project' all day again (just like yesterday, when I had to work) without lending a helping hand Mostly because it's a little physical now and then and simply an extra pair of hands would make things way easier.
  3. Probably not going to have the time for a medal table, since we're busy building something like this in the garden. It's been going on for a few weeks in the spare hours and today is the day to place the first layer of the roof I'll definitely check in from time to time though
  4. Yeah but I think Timok is a zen ritual, so what do I know
  5. I actually had "if it's written with a capital letter, that is" behind it, but that seemed too 'smart-assy'
  6. Right, 'i' is valid for 'you'...in English. You might say 'e' (pronounced 'ey') to get someone's attention, preferably a friend, but it's definitely not 'you'. The more formal way of saying 'you' in Dutch, for example to older people you don't know, is answer D, 'u'. Not relevent for the question, but possibly interesting: it varies per person. My one grandma insisted we wouldn't call her 'u' and only used the informal word ('je/jou'), whereas my other grandma prefers 'u'.
  7. I had somehow read it completely wrong and thought you would get 32k no matter what Which I had 1) already forgotten by the time I started playing and 2) was not the reason for my choosing it, since I wanted to play it harder and have fewer life lines
  8. Yeah, there you go with having ignored your Dutch expert Oh wait, this is the extra lifeline, so I am allowed to help out?
  9. I have a strong suspicion and am 99% sure about this one. Reading back, I was right (and so was our Croatian friend, luckily) Also, painful comment from the guy who is notorious for not checking how to spell a name
  10. I'm still not sure how that is considered the more risky option, since it gives an extra lifeline
  11. No worries, I'll volunteer to be an expert when you play
  12. Looking back, Timok doesn't sound very Asian neither, where I assume the whole zen thing comes from Too bad, but it was fun playing!
  13. Oh crap, those don't sound like the home nations of Zen.
  14. Excellent to be able to probably exclude two of them! I wasn't seeing A as a very real option, but B was my main favourite. I barely know a thing about Star Wars neither, but I do feel at least one of these three would sound at least a tiny bit familiar if it was C, but none of them do. I'm going for D, Zen rituals.
  15. It is a hard choice....there is a certain direction I'm leaning towards (B) and I'd like the input of @dcro in this.
  16. I don't want to run out with a lifeline still being open, so I'm going to call in an expert here to see if my doubts can be redirected somewhat.
  17. Awesome, at least I'm going to be on the board with a significant amount of points
  18. With one in particular....one being both an available expert here and the Totallympics equestrian encyclopedia.
  19. This one I know, I believe! If I'm not mistaken, quarantaine rules (how 2021 of those 1950's people) made it as good as impossible to have the equestrian events in Australia, where the rest of the Olympics were held. Therefore, they were held in....C, Stockholm!
  20. And in case I would have had to choose, I probably would have gone for D, maybe him turning into a dragon was the last revelation I have really no idea.
  21. I believe we have two experts in the house, one of which I don't really think is much of a hardcore gamer and the other one (who probably isn't neither) is too young for the early Tomb Raider stuff I would say, so going for the expert lifeline seems awfully tricky. The only Tomb Raider experience I have from ages ago is that there's a tiger which is hard to kill and a big house with a cool gym and a maze in the garden, but that's not very helpful here Switch, please!
