  1. World champion Xin Xin is in major trouble.
  2. Yeah but it's a direct medal event, unlike for example days 1-3 in golf or early qualifications or something. So, alarm and time to get up
  3. Women's 10k is underway in 'nice' warm water.
  4. Next dumb question GR 67kg, quarter finals. Aslanyan had Elsayed pinned on his shoulders and won the match, or so it seemed. There was a challenge and a challenge and whatnot and suddenly Aslanyan hadn't won anymore, they continued fighting and eventually Elsayed won. What happened, why didn't Aslanyan get the fall/pin?
  5. The main race walk on an unholy time on Thursday evening/Friday morning and then two days of midnight marathons, which all come after two days of pre-midnight open water swimming. Come Sunday afternoon, I am going to drop into my bed and sleep straight to Beijing 2022
  6. Yeah true, I guess it is equal when both are equally impossible to really pay attention to with everything else going on
  7. By the way, which moron thought it'd be a good idea to have the heptathlon and decathlon at the same days?
  8. The way she ran the last 100 or so, the times we've already seen these days (track, spikes, whatnot), the fact that she'd have absolutely nothing to hide anymore....I really don't think Koch's WR would have survived Oh well, we will never know.
  9. Thank fuck Asher-Smith didn't race this and finish 4th
  10. I'd like to see statistics about that but yeah, seems legit Which is why I'm not kidding when saying I believe she'd run sub-47. Her start is awful, but once she gets going she is unstoppable compared to the rest.
  11. Must say I did not expect Thomas to actually still be good after the trials
  12. After today and yesterday, I really don't know what's the limit anymore
  13. Just in case I'm right... 1. Thompson 20.85 2. Mboma 21.10 3. Fraser-Pryce 21.35 4. Ta Lou 21.85
  14. Oh yeah, La Tou 4th, obviously. I am already sad about it
  15. Fits with what feels like a very underwhelming evening so far (except for the 800m)
  16. Right, what do you guys think? I'm going with Thompson in 20.85
  17. BBC in shambles and full apologetic mode because Hodgkinson said what the fuck, I assume?
  18. What a time and what a gold for Mu, Rudisha-style
