  1. The number one example of the 2021 Bahrain Bonus indeed No idea what they did in the winter, but almost everyone in that team went three levels higher. Padun's two hard mountain stage solo wins on two consecutive days in the Dauphiné are another example. Or Caruso's second place in the Giro and Haig's and Mäder's 3th and 5th place in the Vuelta. Or Mohoric, who admittedly was already seriously good, but made a huge next step this year. And just the general riding of almost everybody else throughout the entire year.
  2. Colbrelli! That was a fantastic final lap on the track, in the last 100m I thought "he's got it!!" for all three of them one moment or another What a crown on his year
  3. I can perfectly envision a scenario in which the two sprinters look at each other and Vermeersch takes the cake
  4. Moscon sliding to the ground! But still 20 seconds ahead or so, no problems.
  5. Flat tyre for Moscon, who now has the advantage of a fresh and clean bike though.
  6. Quite literally the only rider in the race (or even the entire pro peloton, other than Bouhanni) I'd hate to see as winner, especially of one of the most epic races in recent memory Oh well, it is what it is. Was a fun first 180km or so
  7. Colbrelli is really taking maximum advantage of the Bahrain miracle this year isn't he? Now even this strong on the wet muddy cobbles
  8. Attack by VDP and Lampaert, racing Stybar straight out of their wheels.
  9. Monster job by Rickaert to bring Van der Poel back.
  10. Degenkolb down again and a motorbike joins him
  11. Mechanical for Walscheid and his 105kg, that's too bad for the leaders.
  12. 130k to go and we've got basically a 12-man peloton.
  13. And Küng down hard, straight on his face in the unforgiving mess of sector 25. His third fall of the day.
  14. Nasty crash for Sagan and two as of yet unidentified riders, they nearly drowned.
  15. Haller finally made his way back after his puncture....and crashes.
  16. Pictures straight out of hell, what a race already
  17. Hagenes, Gregoire, Svrcek (@hckošice) among others in the small lead group in the junior race, three out of the top-4 of last week. https://www.facebook.com/TeamFrancoBallerini/videos/335885031616673/
  18. Right on the day La Vie Claire's founder/manager passed away
  19. Jumbo-Visma is racing in a special anniversary jersey today. Great choice of race to do that, a wet Paris-Roubaix. Fantastic marketing. Super smart.
