  1. Nice It's about time someone opens a thread for the Winter Universiade I suppose
  2. The Afghans will also participate in the upcoming Winter Universiade, as their guy wrote to me when I e-mailed them about the Universiade (he also sent me 'warm greetings from Afghanistan, dear friend', so, go Afghanistan!)
  3. There's actually only two races left...the OECH individual on Wednesday and the sprint on Friday, since the pursuit doesn't give any IBU points (and with her travelling to Kazakhstan on that day, I doubt she'd participate anyway if she qualifies). I'm not entirely sure she'll participate in Hochfilzen even if she qualifies though. It would have to be squeezed in right between the Winter Universiade and the Nordic Ski World Championships in Lahti, both of which she'll definitely participate in. Which also doesn't help is that she's spent two days already wearing a 'sling' on her arm to keep her arm stabilized, because of an injury she got nearly three weeks ago when she fell in the first Martell sprint. On another note, on her 'official' fanpage on Facebook she posted a dry shooting video from Arber, made by me in my hotel room It's a little competition of shooting 4 cartridges as fast as possible, of course without actual munition in it (hence the 'dry shooting') https://www.facebook.com/atletabrunamoura
  4. No, only Bruna and Mika Picin Gabi and Caio have already been in Pokljuka for almost a week now for another IBU camp, and for the IBU Junior Cup later this week. They will go to the Czech Republic later as well by the way: after the Junior Cup in Pokljuka they're travelling to Nove Mesto for the Open Junior European Championships Bruna will travel to Kazakhstan for the Winter Universiade on Saturday, what Mika's going to do I have no idea
  5. Germany with my favourite Heinevetter out Qatar through Bad day
  6. Update for the Czech contingent of our fan club: the Brazilians spent the night in Prague They left Ramsau to go there yesterday, and just left Prague a couple of minutes ago on their way to Duszniki-Zdroj
  7. Well to be fair, with Zhuravok and especially Merkushyna the future is definitely looking good for Ukraine
  8. Laura/Germany
  9. Slovakia in 3rd after three shootings, come on, keep this up
  10. 2. Sloof Seriously, not in my most hopeful dreams did I ever dream I would see "2. Sloof" at some point during a World Cup race
  11. Finally, Norway can celebrate their 1st win of the season
  12. Frendzel was MAD after the finish, throwing his pole to Rydzek
  13. Nope I like Feuz and Janka and am always happy when they perform well...Feuz was incredibly fast (0,72s faster than Paris with one and a half turn to go), but went too deep on the Hausbergkante and crashed
  14. What a finish in the men's relay
  15. Meanwhile in Ramsau, Austria... (That's Lucas Lima, or Lucão, who got 3rd place in a national U16 competition!)
  16. They're actually playing against Afghanistan tomorrow
  17. Horchler only started because Podchufarova isn't here today
  18. Wow what an incredibly beautiful victory for Nadine Horchler
  19. Nooooo Feuz....why
  20. Wow, Istomin did it!
  21. Break for Istomin in the 5th set
  22. Istomin is doing an awesome job against Djokovic so far!
  23. Hello Brazilian friends I just saw this post by CBDN: That dude's 15 years old and already finished in the middle of a World Cup stage (not far behind or something, but in the middle)...seriously, that kid's got talent!
  24. Meanwhile, the metro/underground in Rome is being evacuated because of all this.
