The climbs are killing indeed, it'd be hard on sea level, let alone at 1700m... It would have made for an epic battlefield though with these extreme wind conditions (today I saw athletes almost getting blown up the final climb...where they then had to turn and go downhill against that storm, with their hands in front of their faces )

The list itself is not overly complicated by the way, basically they take the average of the three best results of an athlete in a certain time period.

The lists are not available anywhere. Last season I had a wonderful excel sheet to work out the list after every competition, but since IBU made some small changes in the format of their PDF's, the excel sheet doesn't work anymore..

Its hard to tell for today. With 1700m its basically the highest venue which can make it hard and they arrived only like 30 hours ago from Brazil

Not sure, but I think the IBU Cup is a bit too early for him maybe. The girls are looking forward to it, the wind is very hard though...we're going to the biathlon venue in 40 minutes, let's see how the wind is gonna be then. On the good side, strong wind opens up the possibilities for surprises, which is what I keep telling them now

I miss the entire first run and Shiffrin DNF's for the first time since dinosaurs walked the earth....I have to record the 2nd run so I can't watch it live and Slovakia takes a double win...what a day
