First world cup victory for Fak since 2015

Actually skis weren't the problem...she basically blacked out and had to be taken to the medical center (it took us quite a while to find her). She's better now, full of anger for tomorrow at least. 

Bruna DNF - did not look good at 2km.    Skis were slipping all over the place. 

Probably the most important day of Bruna's career tomorrow. The nerves here are off the charts, vamos
 

Oh yeah, and we can be recognized by a big banner with "Nunspeet" (our hometown) on it, and I'm carrying a Dutch-Brazilian flag, which I'll hold in a certain way to let Bruna know how she's doing when she is halfway
 

The only interesting story today was Shiffrin dissing Vonn and later won with Johnson, while Vonn finished well behind, mostly due to her downhill.

I am not a big fan of these experiments being adapted immediately by the olympics.

I love Pogacar (and Sinner), but for me, if you don't go to the Olympics out of your own choice in an Olympic year it's a total no no on these kind of awards.

For the first time our small country has an athlete, who without a doubt should deserve best athlete of the year award. Without being too "cocky", Armand Duplantis is the only real threat to Tadej Pogačar.
