Two out of three Liechtenstein athletes have already completed their Olympic performances. Swimmer Christoph Meier competed at the very first day in heats of men's 400m individual medley. He finished 22nd (out of 27 entrants) and set a new NR of 4:19.19, breaking his own NR by more than 2 seconds. Tennis player Stephanie Vogt competed on the 2nd day when she faced heavily favoured Johanna Konta of Great Britain. Konta won in two sets (6-3, 6-1). Vogt had 2 break points in first set but didn't convert them.
