What's the plan for next month's contests, there's a lot going on.

Water Polo and Volleyball are all over €100 with them both only having dates in the 2nd half of the games, only Volleyball has 2 before August. So unless you're willing to pay those prices, you won't get any.

So it turns out my dad, who also entered the draw, got his email on Thursday and didn't tell me about it because he put his country of residence as France when he signed up so the email came out in French. Nevertheless, I got tickets for the Rowing medal session on the 31st and the Rugby Seven's Women's Pool Stage on the 29th.

That sounds like a good plan. I'm looking at going from 27th-31st (flying in on 26th, flying back on 1st) so I'll be hoping to get a few more events later on so I'm at least doing 1 event a day. I did plan on doing 8 events over the 5 days but that definitely won't be possible now. Swimming, Beach Volleyball and Mountain Biking look out of the question so I'll be looking at getting something from Boxing, Canoe Slalom, Handball, Table Tennis and Water Polo in the future on top of the Rowing and Rugby Sevens. Some medal sessions opening up would also be nice.

Cheers, hopefully those first 2 dates are still available tomorrow lunchtime at that price. At this point I'm just trying to scramble what I can, so might decide to go for Rugby Seven's too.

I was finally successful in the draw. Hopefully I can get a couple events in this phase.

For me it should've been and instead of and . Although after crowd reaction I knew were going through and always go through when they sing in their own language.

If I don't get an email by Sunday I'm resigning myself to getting nothing and having to bank on resales.

Appalling from , our banker medalist completely tanking it in the first round. There have been a few bright sparks with Smythe-Davis, Moorhead and Howell all getting decent points but on the whole it's been pretty abysmal. I doubt it'll get much better before the end either. The only outside chances we have at a medal are in -78KG women's with Reid and Powell. Things need to change fast otherwise we're gonna get nudged out of many of the weight categories.

I hope so. We've got about 2-3 fencers who have a good shot at getting individual quotas, and whether they get them could all depend on whether we get the team quotas due to European quotas being exceeded.

Poor from , this is a quota we should be going for and one that will massively impact whether we get any individual quotas.

They started putting them on 3 and 4 last year as soon as they started at 7 as opposed to just online and red button, depending on what time they start of course. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same this year, especially if they want to get viewing figures up on 3 and prove bringing it back as a channel was the right decision.
